Ken Urker died on October 1, 2026, his 34th birthday.
According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in Raceland after receiving a call at approximately 6:15 p.m. Urker was found dead when authorities arrived, and officials said the investigation was continuing.
Early reports differed on his age, with some initially identifying him as 33. Later reporting from PEOPLE and other outlets identified him as 34.
The circumstances surrounding his death have generated considerable public attention, but authorities had not initially announced an official cause of death.

With Anderson no longer her husband and Urker having died, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is not currently married.
